What You’ll Do in This Role:

Serve as the connection point between stakeholders, product owners, technical teams, and quality assurance to gather, document, and prioritize business and technical needs.

Evaluate current operational systems and partner with cross-functional teams to define functional and non-functional requirements for a modernized solution.

Follow established development lifecycles and organizational standards.

Conduct gap analyses to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.

Collaborate with data specialists to define migration strategies, set validation requirements, and ensure integrity and consistency of data across platforms.

Translate conceptual business needs into clear, actionable requirements for development teams.

Develop and maintain project artifacts such as workflows, user stories, use cases, data dictionaries, and mapping documentation.

Participate in design reviews, sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Coordinate with QA to ensure testing aligns with business requirements and data accuracy throughout the transition.

Support change management activities, including end-user training and documentation.

Track performance indicators and success metrics tied to system adoption and operational efficiency.

Ensure compliance with applicable standards and policies during data migration and rollout.
What You’ll Bring:
Required Qualifications:

6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including 2+ years in a senior or lead role.

Background in system transformation, modernization, or enterprise-level implementations.

Strong skills in data analysis, mapping, and validation.
-
Knowledge of SDLC frameworks, including Agile and Waterfall.

Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, diagramming tools, and SQL.

Excellent analytical abilities, communication skills, and stakeholder engagement experience.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with enterprise system migrations or cloud-based solutions.

Exposure to user experience design or ability to create wireframes and process flows.
-
Familiarity with transactional or processing systems (finance, healthcare, insurance, or related fields).

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, information systems, or a related discipline.

Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, CPO, or Agile credentials.
