I am looking for a senior Data & AI Scientist to join a high-performing Group Data function where you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of Data Science and AI across the organisation.
This is not just a modelling role. I need someone who can identify high-impact opportunities, translate complex business challenges into analytical solutions, and take machine learning and Generative AI use cases all the way from experimentation to production deployment.
You will:

Lead the design and productionisation of ML and GenAI solutions delivering measurable business value

Partner with senior stakeholders to prioritise advanced analytics initiatives

Establish best practices across Data Science and MLOps

Work closely with Data Engineering and Architecture teams to ensure scalable model deployment

Provide thought leadership in AI, ML and GenAI innovation

Mentor and develop Data Scientists to build a high-performing team
To be successful, you will bring:

Advanced Python skills with production-grade experience

Strong SQL and experience working with large datasets

Hands-on cloud experience (Azure, AWS or Snowflake)

Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g. scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch, TensorFlow)

Strong knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, embeddings and evaluation techniques

MLOps experience (CI/CD, MLflow, containerisation, monitoring)

A background in financial services (wealth or asset management preferred)

The ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive adoption of AI-led decision making
