We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale enterprise IT initiatives. This role will focus on Microsoft 365 technologies, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams, while partnering with technical teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to successfully deliver strategic projects on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate has a strong background managing complex infrastructure and collaboration platform projects, excellent stakeholder management skills, and experience working in large enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle delivery of enterprise IT projects focused on Microsoft 365 technologies, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
- Manage migration initiatives such as email platform transitions, SharePoint modernization, and Teams governance implementations.
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and success metrics.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
- Provide executive-level project updates, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and issues while driving timely resolutions.
- Manage third-party vendors and technology integrations, including collaboration with Microsoft ecosystem partners and enterprise service management platforms.
- Coordinate activities across both onshore and offshore teams to balance operational support and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure projects align with security, governance, compliance, and change management standards.
- Conduct project closeout activities, lessons learned sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of IT project management experience leading enterprise technology initiatives.
- PMP certification (or equivalent project management certification).
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional IT projects from initiation through implementation.
- Strong experience using project management tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects within large matrixed organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting organizations in highly regulated industries such as energy, utilities, healthcare, finance, or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Exchange Online, including mail flow, SMTP relay modernization, OAuth 2.0, DMARC, and DKIM.
- Experience leading SharePoint migration projects, governance initiatives, and information architecture improvements.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams administration, governance, licensing, and meeting infrastructure projects.
- Agile, Scrum, or SAFe certification.
- Experience managing global or offshore delivery teams.
