An international high‑growth technology company operating at the forefront of sports data and digital solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join its Malta office. The business has a strong global footprint, a fast‑paced commercial environment, and a reputation for operating exclusively in regulated markets.
About the Role
The Senior Legal Counsel will join a high‑performing commercial legal team, supporting the business across a wide range of complex commercial and technology matters. The role is primarily focused on drafting and negotiating major commercial agreements (including MSAs, SaaS arrangements, and data procurement contracts), while also providing support on IP, corporate, and general commercial issues. You will also play a key role in mentoring and developing junior team members.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified lawyer with 7+ years PQE
- Strong experience in complex commercial transactions, ideally within a tech‑driven or data‑focused environment
- Exposure to IP, corporate, ocr dispute matters is advantageous
- Ability to analyse commercial issues and deliver clear, pragmatic advice to stakeholders
