Site Director – Manufacturing

Western Sydney | $200k–$220k + Super + 40% Bonus | On-site

An opportunity has opened with the ANZ arm of a global manufacturing organisation to appoint a Site Director for one of its key Western Sydney operations.

This role sits at the centre of a significant operational transformation, with a clear focus on strengthening site performance, embedding Lean principles and building a high-performing operational culture.

As the senior leader on site, you will take ownership of the manufacturing function across production, maintenance, safety and operational performance, while leading a large workforce in a fast-moving environment.

This is a highly visible leadership role with broad operational responsibility and the ability to influence both short and long-term site outcomes.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading all day-to-day manufacturing operations across the site
  • Driving WHS standards and promoting a strong safety-first culture
  • Overseeing maintenance, engineering and facility performance
  • Improving productivity, efficiency and operational KPIs
  • Embedding Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Developing capability across frontline and operational leadership teams
  • Creating a strong floor presence and leading from the front during periods of change

About You

The business is open to industry background, however you will ideally bring:

  • Experience leading large-scale manufacturing or industrial operations
  • A strong track record within high-volume production environments
  • Exposure to Lean manufacturing, CI programs or operational excellence frameworks
  • Previous experience leading through transformation, change or business integration
  • Strong commercial and operational acumen with full site accountability experience
  • A hands-on, visible leadership style with the ability to engage teams on the ground
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualifications are highly regarded

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operational leader looking to step into a business-critical role with strong executive visibility, genuine influence and long-term growth potential.
