  • Maintain and enforce data governance policies to ensure ongoing data integrity and lifecycle traceability.
  • Partner with IT, Procurement, Finance, and Security to align on software assets and cost centers.
  • Deliver structured reporting and insights to support license optimization, vendor negotiations, compliance audits, and executive decision-making.
  • Act as subject matter expert on software asset data and lifecycle management, driving standardization and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), or Enterprise Technology Operations.
  • Proficiency with asset and cost management platforms (e.g., Zylo, Snow, Flexera, OpenLM, ServiceNow SAM).

  • Demonstrated ability to design and manage structured reporting, dashboards, and governance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data as business-relevant insights.

What Success Looks Like

  • Achieving 100% accuracy across software, financial, and ownership data attributes within 6 months.
  • Complete contract metadata linkage for all high-impact software assets.
  • Real-time reporting for license compliance, renewals, and spend management.
  • Enterprise stakeholders actively using insights to drive budgeting, rationalization, and governance outcomes.
