Pay:$65-69.75/hr (W2)




Our client is a leading company specializing in life sciences and genomics innovation. They are seeking an experienced Sr. Staff Graphic Designer to provide immediate backfill support during a maternity leave. This remote role requires a versatile creative professional who can deliver design and art direction for key go-to-market initiatives with minimal ramp-up time.



Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Translate marketing briefs into bold, high-impact creative concepts for campaigns and digital initiatives
  • Execute high-quality design and tight layouts for marketing assets including event graphics, social media campaigns, and presentation decks
  • Provide clear, concise art direction for photography, illustration, and video assets to ensure brand alignment and consistency
  • Own the production and delivery of polished final files, ensuring all assets adhere to established brand system standards
  • Execute the brand vision and deliver compelling creative assets that connect with audiences in the life sciences and genomics industry
  • Jump into existing projects mid-stream and adapt to ambiguity with minimal supervision
  • Present case studies demonstrating design thinking, art direction, and technical execution

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5+ years of professional design experience, ideally including agency or fast-paced in-house environments
  • Must include a link to an online portfolio showcasing B2B enterprise-level design work, preferably in biotech or healthcare

Knowledge and Skills

  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma for high-fidelity design collaboration and marketing asset creation
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) for production and polish
  • Strong layout and typography skills for marketing collateral
  • Strong presentation design skills (Microsoft PowerPoint required)
  • Experience designing for both print and digital
  • Ability to work within established brand guidelines
  • Strong visual design expertise, craft excellence, and strategic approach to B2B storytelling
  • Proactive, self-starter attitude with proven ability to own projects end-to-end
  • Collaborative and low-ego, takes direction well without heavy onboarding
  • Organized, self-directed, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting
  • Curious about scientific or technical subject matter
  • Appreciates restraint in design and understands when clarity and precision take priority over bold creative risks
  • Demonstrated interest in technology and B2B marketing within the healthcare/genomics space
  • Experience utilizing generative-AI image creation tools is a significant advantage
