Talent Acquisition Specialist
Draper, UT | Standard Schedule | 6 Month Contract | $23.50–$28.50/hr
A growing organization is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruiting efforts, sourcing and screening candidates to fill current and future openings while promoting career opportunities across the business.
Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will manage and support full-cycle recruiting activities within the Talent Acquisition department. Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs
- Sourcing qualified candidates using databases, networking, internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, and employee referrals
- Interviewing applicants to gather information on work history, training, education, and job skills
- Contacting applicants to inform them of employment opportunities, consideration, and selection status
- Informing potential applicants about company facilities, operations, benefits, and career opportunities
Essential Job Duties and Job Functions:
- Manage candidate pipelines and maintain accurate, up-to-date employment records
- Screen resumes and applications against relevant job criteria
- Coordinate interview scheduling and communication between candidates and hiring managers
- Represent the organization professionally throughout the candidate experience
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively
- Basic knowledge of legal policies and procedures related to hiring practices
- Basic knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, and training
- Basic knowledge of business and management principles related to strategic planning
- Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent training required
- 0–2 years of relevant experience required
