Financial knowledge. At least one of: Equity, Fixed Income, OTC and Exchange Traded Derivatives, Fund Management, Security Analytics, Performance Measurement, Risk Measurement, Portfolio Construction, Client Reporting, Banking or Regulatory Reporting. Strong technical aptitude including some experience in Python and VBA. This will be assessed during the interview process.
Experience of working on large scale projects in a Technical Business Analyst or Data Analyst role.
Experience writing & implementing business requirements, process maps, and user stories.
Excellent stakeholder management skills.
Strong Microsoft Excel and SQL skills.
Experience with process mapping software applications: Visio, Lucid Charts etc.
Analytical, structured, and logical in approach.
Attention to detail and a delivery focused mind set.
Organised & collaborative.
Nice to have skills
Strong Python knowledge preferred. VBA knowledge advantageous.
CFA candidate preferred.
5+ years’ experience of working within a data team or dealing with processing large amounts of data.
Genuine experience creating AI (multi-agent LLM) utilities.
Previous finance experience in middle and back-office processes.
Experience in Agile methodologies, including use of Jira.
Systems: Any OMS, S&P EDM (formerly CADIS), Eagle, FactSet, and Port.
Exposure to Cloud platforms, preferably Azure, DataBricks & Snowflake.
