Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality standards by washing vehicle exteriors and cleaning/preparing interiors.
- Shuttle vehicles between locations, including customer and fleet vehicles.
- Support the pre-delivery inspection process (cosmetic checks, dynamic test drives, air tool and torque wrench use).
- Utilize computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and internal platforms.
- Conduct quality control checks on delivery-ready vehicles and communicate defects to the service department.
- Maintain vehicle delivery readiness and lot organization, ensuring safe and usable drive lanes.
- Prepare, inspect, and stage customer trade-ins for transport to auction.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the leadership team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in operations, logistics, or lot management (automotive, EV, or detailing experience preferred).
- Experience with service writing or work order systems desirable.
- Minimum age: 21 years.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver’s license for the state of residence (or commuting state).
- Clean driving record:
- No drug/alcohol-related incidents within the past 3 years.
- No more than one serious moving violation within the past 3 years.
- No license suspensions or revocations within the past 3–5 years.
- Subject to ongoing Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) monitoring.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in various environments, including active service centers and outdoor conditions.
- Capable of performing physical tasks such as standing for up to 8+ hours, walking, bending, kneeling, twisting, lifting up to 50 lbs, and operating tools.
- Frequent hand use for data entry, tool handling, and communication tasks.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions, and regulatory materials.
