The position will involve advising a broad range of clients, including financial institutions, asset managers, fintech companies, and corporates, on a wide spectrum of regulatory matters across the UAE and wider Middle East.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on financial services regulation, including licensing, compliance, and ongoing regulatory obligations
- Support clients in navigating regimes such as the DIFC and ADGM frameworks
- Assist with regulatory aspects of corporate transactions and new product launches
- Work closely with the partner on developing client relationships and expanding the practice
- Contribute to know-how, thought leadership, and business development initiatives
Candidate Profile:
- UK, Australian, or equivalent common law qualification
- 3–7 years’ post-qualification experience in financial regulation
- Experience advising financial institutions or regulated entities
- Exposure to Middle East regulatory frameworks (e.g. DIFC/ADGM) is advantageous but not essential
- Strong technical skills, commercial awareness, and a proactive approach
