Position Summary:
Our client, a leading utilities provider, is seeking a Level II Administrative Support Specialist to support a regional electric district. This role provides administrative support to a department or individual, with a primary focus on timekeeping, alongside broader scheduling, logging, and general office coordination duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage timekeeping for the regional electric district, ensuring pay period closings are met accurately and with minimal to no errors
- Support additional administrative functions including schedules, logs, word processing, filing, faxing, and mail sorting/distribution
- Answer phones and greet/direct visitors
- Coordinate meetings and conferences
- Maintain financial record keeping and obtain office supplies
- Assist with special projects as assigned
- Adapt to evolving company processes and workflows, at times in a high-paced environment
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma required
- 2–5 years of relevant administrative experience
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with MS Office required
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
- Comfortable adapting to a fast-paced, evolving work environment
