Position Summary
This position provides a wide range of clerical and administrative support functions. Responsibilities include maintaining records, retrieving and compiling data, preparing financial reports (budget, variance, and cost tracking), supporting month-end close activities, and ensuring that all transactions comply with internal SOX controls and procedures.
The role may also involve limited accounts payable activities, basic inventory support, and indicator tracking, along with other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
- Create purchase orders with a focus on accurate commercial content and risk mitigation
- Process work cycles and MR11 transactions
- Provide support for the internal service desk ticketing system
- Perform month-end administrative and financial support activities
- Investigate and resolve vendor-related issues
- Respond to urgent requests in a timely and professional manner
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with peers, customers, and stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Business Management, IT, Accounts Payable, and Supply Chain
- Maintain compliance with internal SOX controls and established procedures
- Participate in special projects and complete additional assignments as required
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Process improvement mindset and ability to identify efficiency opportunities
- General understanding of procurement and accounting principles
- 1–2 years of experience in procurement, accounts payable, or an administrative finance function
- Experience with SAP is preferred
