Position Summary
Our client is a leading energy company operating across multiple locations in Florida. In this role, you will contribute to a variety of cross-functional projects aimed at driving significant improvements as a QA Tester. Your projects will range in scope and complexity, necessitating expertise in diverse testing functions, including test development, execution, and project management. You will become a subject matter expert in your assigned workstream, enabling you to effectively support the operations and testing teams. Your efforts will ensure that we consistently deliver seamless experiences for our customers.
This position can sit in any of the following locations:
- Juno Beach, FL
- 4200 W Flagler St, Coral Gables, FL
- 7201 Cypress Rd, Plantation, FL
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the application testing process for internal and external applications, including end-to-end user acceptance testing
- Execute test scripts, report defects accurately and thoroughly, and retest efficiently
- Collaborate with IT and other business units to solve real-time technical issues and conduct root cause analysis
- Build strong working understanding of the technical solution being delivered
- Support cross-functional projects aimed at driving significant improvements
- Develop expertise in diverse testing functions including test development, execution, and project management
- Become a subject matter expert in assigned workstream to effectively support operations and testing teams
Education and Experience
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or application testing (required)
Knowledge and Skills
- SAP knowledge (preferred)
- Exposure to Agile program development methodology
- Strong understanding of application testing processes and methodologies
- Ability to execute test scripts and report defects accurately
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with IT and business units
- Root cause analysis capabilities
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex technical solutions
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects of varying scope and complexity
