We’re partnering with a leading global insurance organisation to recruit a Digital Product Owner to support a major transformation programme across their consumer insurance portfolio.
This is a high-impact role sitting within a key customer-focused domain, with ownership of a digital product end-to-end. You’ll play a critical role in shaping how customers engage with insurance products, working closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
About the Role
As Digital Product Owner, you will take full ownership of a key product within the organisation’s digital ecosystem - from defining vision and roadmap through to delivery, launch, and ongoing optimisation.
You’ll work closely with your squad, stakeholders, and leadership team to deliver seamless, customer-centric experiences, with a strong focus on data, automation, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product end-to-end, including vision, roadmap, delivery, and performance
- Define and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs
- Translate requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Work closely with engineering, design, and delivery teams in an Agile environment
- Collaborate with stakeholders across technology, legal, compliance, and business teams
- Drive data-led decision making, defining success metrics and using insights to optimise performance
- Champion automation and straight-through processing to improve customer experience and efficiency
- Navigate a complex, regulated environment while ensuring strong governance and risk alignment
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Product Owner with end-to-end ownership of digital products
- Strong track record delivering customer-facing digital solutions (web, mobile, or platforms)
- Data-driven mindset, with experience defining metrics and using insights to guide decisions
- Strong prioritisation skills, with the ability to make clear, confident decisions
- Solid technical understanding across SDLC, Agile delivery, and solution design
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across multiple teams
- Strong communication skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
Nice to Have
- Experience within insurance or another regulated industry
- Exposure to consumer-facing products or direct distribution models
- Experience working in large, global organisations
