Electrical Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will support construction oversight and field execution for large-scale power generation and electrical infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Interpreting drawings, contract documents, and quality documentation
- Verifying accuracy of engineering drawings, submittals, and specifications
- Working collaboratively with EPC contractors, subcontractors, and operations teams
- Monitoring and reporting daily, weekly, and monthly progress, safety, and quality
- Supporting construction and commissioning activities in the field
- Managing documentation using Unifier for QC photo tracking and reporting
- Facilitating the RFI (Request for Information) process
with engineering teams
- Performing inspections of installed equipment to ensure compliance with scope and standards
- Reviewing project completion and turnover documentation
- Supporting field commissioning and system turnover activities
- Building strong working relationships across EPC, engineering, and site teams
- Ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and site requirements
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
- Ensure construction work aligns with contract scope, specifications, and quality standards
- Coordinate and communicate with EPC contractors and field teams
- Track progress and identify construction or installation issues in real time
- Support electrical system testing and verification activities
- Assist in project closeout, documentation, and turnover processes
- Maintain accurate reporting of site activities and compliance updates
- Promote and enforce a safety-first culture across all job sites
- Utilize project systems (e.g., Unifier) for documentation control and reporting
Knowledge & Skills:
- Understanding of SCADA systems and fiber optics
- Familiarity with electrical and fiber testing methods, including:
- TTR (Transformer Turns Ratio)
- VLF (Very Low Frequency testing)
- OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer)
- Fall of Potential testing
- VOCs and related electrical commissioning tests
- Strong knowledge of construction management and field engineering practices
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
- Strong communication and coordination skills in multi-stakeholder environments
- Experience working in power generation or utility construction environments
- Strong organizational and reporting abilities
- Commitment to safety compliance and quality assurance
Education & Experience:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Power Generation, or related field(or equivalent experience)
- 6–10 years of relevant construction management experience
- Experience in power plant commissioning and electrical infrastructure projects
- Experience working with EPC contractors, engineering firms, and equipment suppliers
- Field experience in utility-scale or energy infrastructure projects preferred
