HR Business Partner

The Role
An opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a fast-paced organisation, partnering closely with leaders to deliver end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle. You will play a key role in driving people initiatives, ensuring compliance, and supporting a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to provide strategic and operational HR advice across the employee lifecycle
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes including workforce planning, job design, screening, interviewing, and offers
- Lead onboarding and induction programs to ensure strong new starter experience and engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers on employee relations matters, including performance and conduct issues
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development planning
- Drive learning and development initiatives aligned to business needs and capability gaps
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, awards, and internal policies, providing risk-based guidance to leaders
- Analyse HR data and reporting (headcount, turnover, leave trends) to support workforce insights and decision-making
- Oversee payroll and benefits processes, including leave management and remuneration reviews
- Manage contractor governance including onboarding, classification, compliance checks (right to work, ABN, insurance), and lifecycle management
- Oversee workers’ compensation and injury management processes, including claims, return-to-work planning, and insurer liaison
- Ensure accurate HR documentation, including contracts, policies, and employee records
- Lead or contribute to HR projects and broader people initiatives aligned to business priorities
- Promote a strong safety culture and support WHS compliance and reporting
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in a HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
- Proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders
- Strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
- Experience using HRIS systems and HR reporting tools
- Ability to manage complexity and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
