Job Description
We are seeking a senior-level Delivery Manager
to support a large-scale Continuous Technology Modernization and Simplification (CTMS)
program across Application, Infrastructure, and AI Enablement
workstreams. This role is responsible for end-to-end planning and execution of modernization initiatives, coordinating cross-functional technical and business teams, and ensuring alignment with architectural, financial, and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive project schedules and oversee end-to-end delivery of modernization initiatives.
- Facilitate due-diligence, discovery, and solution design sessions across technical and business teams.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, and cross-workstream dependencies.
- Review and approve solution designs, technical documentation, and delivery artifacts.
- Coordinate and manage vendors and managed service providers (MSPs), ensuring contractual and milestone adherence.
- Ensure milestones, deliverables, and execution readiness targets are met across all workstreams.
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with stakeholders at all levels.
- Escalate issues, risks, and opportunities appropriately to support informed decision-making.
- Support business-case development and financial alignment for modernization initiatives.
- Enable consistent governance, delivery standards, and reporting across CTMS activities to keep workstreams synchronized.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong expertise in end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, risk management, and governance.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-domain modernization efforts, such as:
- Application rationalization
- Cloud migration
- Infrastructure modernization
- System decommissioning
- Platform consolidation
- Strong technical fluency with the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, product managers, and subject-matter experts.
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate technical detail into business-ready language.
- Proven experience managing vendors and MSPs, including SOW execution and milestone-based performance oversight.
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence stakeholders, align teams, and drive decision-making.
Certifications (Preferred)
- PMP
- Agile delivery certifications such as PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe Agilist, or Leading SAFe
- Cloud certifications (AWS and/or Azure) preferred for supporting modernization and platform initiatives
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business or technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Project Management certification preferred (PMP).
- Seven to ten (7–10) years of project management experience.
