IT PROCUREMENT AGENT

LOCATION: Juno Beach, FL

DURATION: 12-month contract

PAY: Up to $25-30/hour



Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will manage and coordinate the procurement of IT-related goods and services, supporting strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiations, and cost management. Key responsibilities include:

· Managing end-to-end IT procurement activities, including requisitioning, sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing.

· Developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and business needs.

· Ensuring IT purchases comply with company policies, procurement standards, and budget requirements.

· Identifying, evaluating, and managing relationships with IT vendors and suppliers.

· Negotiating favorable pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers.

· Drafting, reviewing, and managing IT contracts and agreements.

· Partnering with Finance to establish and manage procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.

· Collaborating with IT, Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders to understand and fulfill procurement needs.

Essential Duties and Job Functions

· Manage the full procurement lifecycle for IT products and services.

· Develop sourcing strategies that support business objectives and maximize value.

· Identify and evaluate potential vendors based on capabilities, pricing, quality, and business requirements.

· Establish and maintain strong relationships with key IT vendors and suppliers.

· Lead or support contract negotiations to secure favorable commercial terms.

· Draft, review, and administer IT contracts, agreements, renewals, and terminations.

· Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.

· Work closely with Finance to manage procurement budgets and monitor spending.

· Analyze procurement expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

· Ensure IT purchases remain within approved budgets.

· Collaborate with IT, Legal, Finance, and other departments to coordinate procurement activities.

· Provide stakeholders with regular updates regarding procurement status, risks, issues, and timelines.

· Participate in cross-functional teams supporting strategic procurement initiatives.

· Conduct market research to evaluate industry trends, pricing, product availability, and emerging technologies.

· Evaluate and recommend products and services that can enhance IT capabilities.

· Maintain accurate procurement records, including requisitions, contracts, purchase documentation, and invoices.

· Prepare procurement reports and communicate findings and recommendations to management.

Knowledge & Skills

· Strong understanding of procurement and sourcing processes.

· Experience with IT procurement, technology products, software, or IT services preferred.

· Strong vendor management and relationship-building skills.

· Excellent contract negotiation skills.

· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

· Ability to analyze pricing, contracts, and procurement expenditures.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to collaborate effectively with IT, Legal, Finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.

· Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and competing priorities.

· Strong understanding of commercial terms, contracts, and supplier agreements.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and procurement-related systems.

· Previous software sales experience is a plus.

Education & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

· Relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, vendor management, or contract management.

· Experience managing IT-related procurement activities strongly preferred.

· Experience negotiating contracts and commercial terms with vendors.

· Experience managing supplier relationships and procurement processes.

· Previous software sales experience is a plus.

· Experience working cross-functionally with IT, Legal, Finance, and business stakeholders preferred.

· Experience with technology/software procurement is highly desirable.
