We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex security and cloud technology initiatives within a large enterprise environment. This role will oversee projects focused on cloud security, compliance, infrastructure, and enterprise technology while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong background in IT project management, security and compliance, cloud technologies, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technology projects from initiation through implementation, including planning, requirements gathering, vendor management, design, testing, deployment, and project closeout.
- Manage initiatives focused on cloud security, compliance, infrastructure, enterprise applications, and digital transformation.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, infrastructure, application development, data, business, and security organizations.
- Support the implementation and security of cloud environments while ensuring alignment with organizational security policies and compliance requirements.
- Oversee project resources and priorities across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and leadership.
- Provide executive-level reporting on project status, risks, issues, and overall project health.
- Drive continuous improvement of project management processes, governance, and delivery methodologies.
- Ensure successful execution using both Agile and Waterfall project management approaches.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT Project Management experience supporting cybersecurity, security, or compliance initiatives.
- 5+ additional years of overall IT experience.
- Experience managing multiple complex enterprise technology projects simultaneously.
- Experience implementing and securing cloud environments.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.
- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts including:
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Network Security
- Encryption
- Data Protection
- Cloud Architecture
- Risk Management
- Threat Modeling
- Defense-in-Depth
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) within cloud environments.
- Familiarity with security frameworks, compliance standards, and governance best practices.
- Experience with project planning, budgeting, resource management, and risk management.
- Strong written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or other Project Management certification.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, or similar.
- Experience with Monday.com.
- Experience using Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Office Suite, and Visio.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments with cross-functional technical teams.
