The IT Project Manager leads the planning, execution, and delivery of cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. This role partners closely with internal teams and stakeholders to drive successful outcomes that align with organizational goals. The Project Manager is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle while maintaining quality standards, stakeholder alignment, and effective team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver IT and cybersecurity solutions that meet business requirements
- Track project progress and proactively adjust plans to maintain schedules and budgets
Team Coordination & Leadership
- Provide clear direction and leadership to assigned project teams
- Facilitate collaboration across internal teams, contractors, and external consultants
- Support team development through coaching, guidance, and performance feedback
Stakeholder Management
- Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership
- Ensure project objectives remain aligned with organizational priorities
- Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve challenges that may impact delivery
Quality Assurance & Risk Management
- Oversee quality control throughout all phases of the project lifecycle
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks using established best practices
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, security requirements, and industry standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management with a strong focus on execution and delivery
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies, frameworks, and tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend practical solutions
