IT Project Manger

The Project Manager will lead end-to-end delivery of complex cloud and data initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This individual will drive cloud migration efforts, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and vendors, and align technical execution with operational, compliance, and financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud & Data Migration Leadership
- Lead projects migrating on-premise, data-centric workloads to new cloud-based data fabric environments
- Develop and manage cloud migration and implementation roadmaps
- Support AWS cloud adoption across large enterprise environments
- Ensure alignment of cloud capabilities with operational, compliance, financial, and security requirements
- Apply knowledge of AWS cloud data services, DevOps, FinOps, and MLOps practices
Data & Analytics Enablement
- Oversee implementation of managed databases, SaaS data platforms (e.g., Snowflake), custom applications, and vendor solutions
- Manage initiatives involving data replication, streaming technologies, and analytics pipelines
- Support time-series, structured, and unstructured data environments
- Promote and enable self-service analytics models
Project Planning & Execution
- Lead full project lifecycle: RFP development, vendor selection, proof of concept, requirements gathering, design, build/configuration, testing, integration, data conversion, user acceptance testing, go-live, and closure
- Manage budgets, timelines, dependencies, risks, and shared resource allocation across multiple initiatives
- Coordinate cross-functional IT teams and third-party vendors to drive decisions and resolve issues
- Maintain project schedules, action logs, issue trackers, and key decision documentation
- Conduct first-level budget reviews and financial oversight
- Provide executive-ready status reporting, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies
Leadership & Communication
- Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure solutions meet strategic and operational goals
- Build and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams using both internal and external resources
- Communicate complex technical initiatives clearly to technical and executive audiences
- Operate effectively in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6–8+ years managing multiple complex technology projects
- Proven experience leading enterprise cloud migrations, specifically moving on-premise data workloads to AWS-based cloud environments
- Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud and enterprise cloud transformation strategies
- Experience with data replication, streaming, analytics pipelines, and diverse data formats
- Knowledge of managed databases and SaaS data tools (e.g., Snowflake)
- Understanding of cloud security protocols and risk mitigation strategies
- Proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Strong leadership, organizational, negotiation, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or AWS certifications
- Experience with Monday.com for project tracking and collaboration
