8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Fully on-site
This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing facility infrastructure, equipment, and grounds, including plumbing and HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of mechanical service calls and in-house repairs throughout the facility and grounds.
- Independently determine appropriate methods and procedures for new assignments.
- Perform skilled trade work, including carpentry and painting, related to the construction, repair, or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs, office fixtures, and floor substrates.
- Monitor, maintain, document, and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including central utilities and generators.
- Work from sketches, blueprints, and drawings as needed.
- Act as a liaison to subcontractors.
- Monitor in-house gas supplies, including nitrogen and argon.
- Keep stakeholders informed of work progress and communicate any issues within their respective areas.
- Conduct two daily walkthroughs of the entire facility and report any discrepancies or issues to the Facilities Manager within 30 minutes of discovery.
