MPU Coordinator / Operations Analyst (Entry-Level)

Up to $32.36/hour, 18-month contract
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

This position is responsible for coordinating and scheduling Main Panel Upgrade (MPU) disconnect and reconnect activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory timelines and maintaining accurate documentation across multiple systems and stakeholders.
The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule MPU disconnect/reconnect activities using internal systems
- Communicate effectively with customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders
- Monitor project timelines to ensure compliance with CPUC requirements
- Prioritise and manage scheduling backlogs to maintain workflow efficiency
- Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of all project activities
- Ensure adherence to established MPU procedures and operational guidelines
- Support data tracking, reporting, and analysis using spreadsheets and database tools
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in scheduling, coordination, administrative, or operations support roles
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic database systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow structured processes and maintain accurate records
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Business, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0–3 years of experience in an analytical or operations-focused role
- Experience working with data, reporting, or spreadsheet analysis
- Basic understanding of databases or reporting tools
- Exposure to utilities, infrastructure, or construction environments is a plus
