Planner Assistant
Location:
Hybrid (4 days onsite) – San Diego, CA
Duration:
2-year contract (+ potential 6-month extension)
Schedule:
8-hour shifts (start time between 6:00–7:00 AM PST)
Pay Rate:$27–32/hour
Conversion:
Strong potential for full-time conversion based on performance and business needs
Overview
Provides administrative support to a Customer Project Management (CPM) function within a customer service-focused organization. This role sits within a Service Planning team and supports coordination of field operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and support general customer/service inquiries
- Schedule and dispatch field crews
- Prepare and print job/planner packets
- Manage calendars and coordinate scheduling activities
- Assist with permit documentation and administrative paperwork
- Support invoice preparation and tracking
- Provide ad hoc support to Service Coordinators to streamline field operations
- Contribute to special projects as needed

Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
