PREVAILING WAGE COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR

Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will support the administration and enforcement of prevailing wage compliance programs by overseeing monitoring activities, managing consultants, and ensuring adherence to established regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day compliance operations and program monitoring activities.
- Supporting prevailing wage compliance initiatives, including:
o Reviewing compliance and monitoring reports.
o Tracking corrective actions and remediation efforts.
o Maintaining compliance documentation and records.
o Ensuring operational effectiveness of compliance programs. - Coordinating with consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support program objectives.
- Maintaining compliance tracking systems, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Supporting audit readiness and regulatory compliance efforts.
Essential Duties and Job Functions: - Oversee daily compliance operations and consultant workflows to ensure program requirements are met.
- Review compliance monitoring reports and evaluate findings for accuracy and completeness.
- Track remediation activities and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain compliance documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and program records.
- Execute and monitor NAP workflows, ensuring proper documentation and completion.
- Manage and update compliance dashboards, reporting tools, and performance metrics.
- Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and stakeholders to support compliance initiatives and project objectives.
- Monitor program activities to ensure adherence to prevailing wage requirements and applicable regulations.
- Assist with audit preparation and maintain documentation to support compliance reviews.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements to compliance operations.
- Provide regular status updates and reporting to management and project stakeholders.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of compliance tracking systems and operational processes.
Knowledge & Skills: - Strong organizational, documentation, and recordkeeping skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and compliance tracking systems.
- Understanding of prevailing wage requirements, wage determinations, and field compliance practices.
- Knowledge of compliance monitoring, auditing, and regulatory reporting processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience coordinating and managing third-party vendors, consultants, or contractors.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience supporting regulated, audit-driven, or compliance-focused programs.
Education & Experience: - Bachelor's degree required (Accounting, Human Resources, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred).
- Experience in project coordination, operations support, administrative project consulting, or a related field.
- Experience with construction compliance, prevailing wage programs, or field auditing required.
- Experience supporting regulated, audit-driven, or compliance-oriented programs preferred.
- Experience coordinating vendors, consultants, or third-party service providers required.
- Familiarity with compliance reporting tools, dashboards, and documentation management systems preferred.
