Our client is seeking an Project Controls Scheduler to support Design Engineering project controls and performance reporting for a designated region and/or engineering discipline. This role blends schedule management in Primavera P6 with broader company performance analytics, working cross-functionally to keep project timelines, resourcing, and business metrics visible and on track.

In this role, you will manage and support Design Engineering project scheduling, reporting, and performance analytics across the organization. Key responsibilities include:
Essential Job Duties and Job Functions:
- Maintain the Design Engineering project portfolio schedule for a designated region and/or engineering discipline.
- Provide Design Engineering reporting on project lists, scope, and status of assignments.
- Coordinate Design Engineering project status updates on the Smart Turnaround Tool (STT) using inputs from Excel, Access, and Power BI.
- Facilitate Design Engineering change requests to re-baseline project schedules.
- Create and manage Design Engineering metrics to ensure delivery of performance targets.
- Facilitate and monitor Design Engineering resource planning (LRP, EPEF, histograms).
- Conduct analysis of company performance metrics, including financial, operational, and customer metrics.
- Develop and maintain performance management dashboards and reports that provide visibility into company performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure performance metrics align with business goals and objectives.
- Monitor and measure performance against key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and recommending enhancements.
- Provide guidance and support in setting performance goals, developing action plans, and monitoring progress toward objectives.
Knowledge and Skills:
Required:
- Intermediate-level understanding of Primavera P6, including using filters and layouts to build reports, create histograms, and assess schedules.
- Experience with work breakdown structures (WBS) and the relationships/logic among activities that drive dates in a P6 project schedule.
- Ability to organize large data sets in Excel using formulas and pivot tables.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to manage dialogue with cross-functional teams and across different levels of management.
Desired:
- Experience with design engineering and/or construction schedules.
- Strong Project Controls experience.
- Proficiency in Access, SAP, and visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Certification in Continuous Improvement or Lean Six Sigma.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5 years of schedule updating and reporting experience on Primavera P6.
- 7 years of experience preparing or supporting performance data analysis/reporting.
