Project Manager II

Pay:$60-75/hr
Lead and manage enterprise-wide safety initiatives for a large, complex organization, driving strategic programs that support safety goals and cultural transformation. Partner with cross-functional teams and leadership to plan, execute, and deliver high-impact projects that improve safety performance, ensure alignment, and enable sustainable change.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage large-scale, enterprise-wide safety projects and initiatives aligned with organizational priorities
- Develop strategic objectives, roadmaps, and execution plans for complex, high-visibility programs
- Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics
- Perform project analysis, develop business cases, and conduct risk assessments with mitigation strategies
- Oversee project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and performance tracking
- Build and maintain integrated master project plans, ensuring alignment across timelines, dependencies, and workstreams
- Lead cross-functional teams from project initiation through completion, driving accountability and results
- Facilitate collaboration across departments, stakeholders, and leadership to achieve alignment and buy-in
- Lead meetings, presentations, and working sessions to drive decisions and continuous improvement
- Manage stakeholder engagement and communications across all levels of the organization
- Coordinate and execute business readiness activities, including change management, training, and communications
- Monitor progress, manage risks and issues, and ensure timely delivery of key milestones
- Provide regular reporting on project status, risks, and performance metrics to leadership
- Support execution of enterprise safety transformation strategies and related initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience managing projects, programs, or contracts
- Proven experience delivering large-scale, high-impact initiatives
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving collaboration
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, and resources with formal tracking and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across all organizational levels
- Experience with business readiness, including stakeholder analysis, change management, training, and communications
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and hold teams accountable
- Ability to manage risk, integrate workstreams, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and continuous improvement mindset
- High level of professionalism, ethics, and resilience under pressure
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field
