Position Summary
Our client, a major US energy and utilities organisation, is looking for a skilled Recruiter who thrives on the challenge of finding hard-to-find talent and building trusted relationships. In this role, you'll manage full-cycle recruitment across a variety of positions, partnering closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and deliver top talent. You'll own everything from sourcing and screening through to closing candidates, while creating a positive, seamless experience for everyone involved.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for mid-level roles, from intake to offer
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and craft effective sourcing strategies
- Identify and engage top talent through advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean, social media, networking, and creative outreach
- Build and maintain strong pipelines for hard-to-fill and niche roles
- Screen candidates for both skills and culture fit
- Facilitate structured interviews and support consistent hiring decisions
- Negotiate offers aligned with compensation benchmarks and candidate expectations
- Contribute to diversity hiring efforts and inclusive recruitment practices
- Support employer branding through compelling job postings and social presence
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Prior recruiting experience, ideally across both agency and corporate environments
- Proven ability to find and engage hard-to-reach talent
Knowledge/Skills
- Passion for sourcing and creative candidate engagement
- Strong relationship-building skills with hiring managers, candidates, and peers
- Experience with sourcing tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, ATS systems)
- Excellent communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills
- Commitment to delivering great experiences for candidates and stakeholders alike
