Position: Tech Support Supervisor
Location: Remote (Local candidates only (Tampa, FL) – on-site training required)
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Technical Support Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience providing phone-based software support and a working knowledge of automotive repair—whether from professional shop experience or personal hands-on work with vehicles.

Note: This is a remote position; however, local candidates are preferred due to inital in-person training and team activities at our main office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and representative of the company for customers across the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada.

  • Provide technical support for software applications, hardware systems, and peripherals (e.g., printers), troubleshooting a range of customer issues.

  • Process subscription payments and activate customer software accounts.

  • Log and track customer interactions accurately to maintain detailed support records.

  • Deliver live software demonstrations to new or prospective users.

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.

  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate supervisor when necessary.

  • Research and verify automotive labor times to support customer requests.

  • Participate in testing and debugging of new software features and updates prior to release.

  • Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Prior experience in software technical support or help desk roles.

  • Familiarity with auto repair procedures, either professionally or through personal experience.

  • Comfortable using computers and speaking with customers over the phone.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

  • ASE Certification (or higher automotive credential).

  • CompTIA or Microsoft certifications.
