Position Summary
Our client, a global leader in medical device manufacturing, is seeking a Rep, Training Systems to support their Training and Quality organization on a 12-month contract basis. This role focuses on evaluating training program data, supporting documentation and revision control, and helping design and deliver instructional materials that meet both internal quality standards and applicable external regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret moderately complex training program data to spot trends and underlying drivers, then recommend course corrections; build presentations and procedures that summarize findings and likely root causes.
- Assess the training impact of Engineering Change Request (ECR) submissions and evaluate global requirements when developing training course and exam/certification materials.
- Review training materials for accuracy and sustainability across local and global sites, including revision control.
- Analyze training course content and recommend appropriate methods for measuring training effectiveness.
- Bring process knowledge to cross-functional Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing project teams, proposing solutions to moderately complex issues.
- Interpret relevant external regulations and standards, help implement measures to satisfy them, and identify training-related root causes and corrective actions during initial non-conformance investigations.
- Partner proactively with stakeholders to design and deliver moderately complex technical and non-technical training activities using a range of media and tools aligned to learning objectives.
- Develop and deliver training content related to quality system processes.
- Summarize data to build criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
- Carry out ad hoc functions within the Learning Management System (LMS) as business needs require.
- Take on other duties as assigned by management (incidental).
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Solid working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation and relationship management.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Working knowledge of company policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to quality compliance.
- Working knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Working knowledge of Learning Management System (LMS) capabilities.
- Working understanding of quality regulations.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to interact professionally across all levels of the organization.
- Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working within a team, including cross-departmental groups, and representing the organization on specific projects.
