Overview
A leading organization is seeking a Senior IT Business Systems Analyst to support cybersecurity strategic initiatives. This role involves close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements, while also driving improvements in business processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business users, financial and operations teams, and technical stakeholders.
- Analyze business processes to identify gaps, interdependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Align IT solutions with business goals and strategic initiatives.
- Lead application testing efforts, documentation updates, and process improvement activities.
- Provide expert-level insights and recommendations on system enhancements and best practices.
- Solve complex problems using advanced analytical thinking and a broad strategic perspective.
- Work independently, with minimal guidance in highly complex situations.
- Potentially lead functional teams or project initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 11–15 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
- Strong expertise in IT budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Deep understanding of relevant business processes and technology standards.
- Recognized subject matter expert within their functional area.
- Proven ability to provide strategic recommendations and ensure compliance with IT standards.
