Title: Senior Project Management Consultant

Pay:$40.00 - $45.00/hour

Location: Juno Beach, FL

Schedule: Standard Office Hours (Occasional Travel Required)

Duration: 12-Month Contract




The Engineering & Construction (E&C) Business Unit is seeking a Senior Project Management Consultant to support the development of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. This role is responsible for coordinating internal and external stakeholders across all pre-construction phases—from early-stage development through construction readiness.




This is a multi-project role, managing a portfolio across the United States and Canada. Occasional travel is required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate highly matrixed project teams to ensure alignment with project schedules and priorities
  • Integrate inputs from environmental, regulatory, land acquisition, interconnection, and other stakeholders
  • Define and develop project technical scope
  • Optimize technical and financial project variables to improve feasibility
  • Support contract negotiations, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and interconnection agreements
  • Assist development teams with jurisdictional and permitting requirements
  • Coordinate engineering, estimating, and procurement activities
  • Support engineering teams in design development and technical specifications
  • Partner with cost estimating teams to build and maintain financial models
  • Analyze market data to ensure financial competitiveness and viability
  • Present financial models and manage approvals through executive review processes
  • Source, negotiate, and execute contracts for key services (e.g., geotechnical, survey, engineering, EPC/PC)
  • Represent E&C interests across assigned projects
  • Utilize project management tools and systems to track deliverables and performance metrics
  • Drive process improvements and scalability initiatives
  • Deliver regular project updates, including risks and mitigation strategies, to leadership
  • Ensure seamless transition of projects into construction with a fully executable plan

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in project management, engineering, or construction
  • Strong project management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in renewable energy, electricity markets, or battery storage projects
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
