SERVICE COORDINATOR
LOCATION: El Cajon, CA
SCHEDULE: Monday–Thursday onsite, Friday remote | 6:30 AM–3:30 PM
DURATION: 12-Month Contract (Potential to Extend for a 2nd Year)
PAY: Up to $29-34/Hour
Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will provide administrative and customer service support to the Service Planning department. Key responsibilities include:
· Providing administrative support to Service Planning and coordinating daily service-related activities.
· Answering incoming phone calls and responding to customer inquiries via email.
· Assisting customers with questions regarding project status, scheduling, and service-related activities.
· Scheduling trench inspections and coordinating Gas and Electric crews.
· Printing and preparing project plans, maps, and other necessary documentation.
· Supporting special assignments and other departmental projects as needed.
· Managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of customer service and accuracy.
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
· Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to project status and scheduling.
· Answer and route incoming calls while providing professional and timely customer service.
· Respond to customer emails and follow up on inquiries as needed.
· Coordinate and schedule trench inspections based on project requirements and crew availability.
· Schedule and coordinate Gas and Electric crews to support service activities.
· Communicate scheduling information and updates to customers, internal teams, and field personnel.
· Print, organize, and distribute plans, maps, and other project-related materials.
· Maintain accurate information and documentation using Microsoft Office applications.
· Assist with special assignments and administrative projects within the Service Planning department.
· Effectively manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Demonstrate strong technical problem-solving skills when addressing customer and scheduling-related issues.
· Maintain a customer-focused approach while coordinating with internal teams and external customers.
Knowledge & Skills:
· Minimum of two years of customer service experience.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
· Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
· Strong typing and general computer skills.
· Ability to learn and navigate technical systems and processes.
· Ability to communicate effectively with customers, field crews, supervisors, and internal stakeholders.
· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

Education & Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Minimum of two years of customer service experience.
· Administrative or coordination experience preferred.
· Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
· Experience scheduling field personnel, inspections, or service activities is preferred.
