Position Overview
This role is responsible for providing project management and design support for electrical distribution facilities. The position requires applying engineering principles and technical expertise to a variety of assignments related to both new construction and maintenance activities within distribution systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess work orders and complete complex designs to meet internal and external customer requirements.
- Coordinate planning, organization, and execution of engineering projects with operating and engineering teams.
- Prepare resource estimates, including labor hours, materials, and work scope requirements.
- Evaluate distribution system capabilities to support new electrical loads while minimizing future system impacts.
- Develop cost-effective designs that balance operational needs and customer expectations.
- Collaborate across departments to establish project requirements and cost estimates.
- Prepare project communications, facilitate meetings, and support process improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
