Desktop Support Technician

Tustin, CA (100% on-site)

Duration: 6 months

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (flexible based on business needs)

Pay:$30-35/hr




JOB SUMMARY:

Provide on-site desktop support for end-users, ensuring efficient operation of hardware, software, and IT systems in a fast-paced corporate environment.




KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deploy, update, optimize, and troubleshoot Windows and Mac workstations using system management tools such as ConfigMgr, Microsoft Intune, and Jamf.
  • Support wired and wireless networks, VPNs, collaboration tools (chat and video conferencing), A/V devices, and conference room systems.
  • Provide technical support for Office 365, major browsers, third-party applications, encryption software, antivirus solutions, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDIs), DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, file and print services, and shared drives.
  • Utilize standard helpdesk ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) to track and resolve support requests.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including business stakeholders, vendors, suppliers, managers, and executives.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
  • Prioritize support requests based on impact and urgency, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Provide clear, concise technical explanations to non-technical users.
  • Maintain discipline in managing tickets and internal IT tasks while minimizing distractions from email, chat, or ad-hoc requests.
  • Deliver exceptional customer support, ensuring end-users have the resources needed to perform their roles efficiently.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Jamf or SCCM administration
