- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering (Masters Preferred)
- 7+ Years experience Solar/PV Engineering and/or Construction
- Expertise in one or more of these areas: Power electronics, Battery storage system design, Substation design, Generation tie design.
- Proficient in ETAP, PSCAD and PSSE software
- Familiarity with energy storage technologies, including battery chemistries, power conversion units, and DC/DC converters.
- Familiarity with lithium-ion battery storage safety standards (UL1973, UL9540, UL9540A, NFPA 855, NFPA 70E, NEC, applicable IFC/IBC sections)
- Familiarity with IEC 61215, 61646, 61730
- Ability to handle specialized technical tasks independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
