Anne Doherty

I am a Executive Partner in our London Private Practice team, having worked for Hydrogen for a whopping 15 years! I specialise in assisting lawyers in making a move to Top UK and US law firms in the City.

I have a real passion for the Legal sector having studied law at the University of Glasgow and then completing the Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde. Despite completing 5 years of legal study I decided not to become a lawyer, instead of embarking on a career in Legal Recruitment in New York City where I spent a year talking to lawyers from my desk on 5th Avenue!

Since joining Hydrogen I’ve covered various international markets and have spent time in a number of different offices. I launched our legal offering in SE Asia, relocating to Singapore back in 2009 and continue to have a real interest in our overseas presence.

I currently work remotely from my hometown of Edinburgh, travelling to London for meetings etc. I take real pride in offering candidates and clients a highly bespoke, discreet and expert service.
