Contract recruitment project for an Engineering Consulting firm


The challenge:

Our client, one of the world’s largest engineering consultancies, urgently needed an additional resource for one of their clients as they didn’t have anyone immediately available. Their internal talent acquisition team knew that they wouldn’t be able to find someone who was immediately available, so they engaged Hydrogen to find an experienced German-speaking C&Q engineer who was available immediately and open to relocating.

Our solution:

We are in constant contact with the majority of engineers across the DACH region and have a hotlist of top candidates that are available immediately or about to finish their contracts, which gives us a constant flow of talent. After discussing the criteria with the client over the phone, we sourced an individual, experienced in large biopharma projects, that the client hadn’t been able to find who met all the other requirements too.

The outcome:

  • The consultancy was able to meet their client’s demands by providing them with a resource that was not available to them
  • Our client was thrilled that we were able to provide them with a hard to find resource on the same day and get contracts signed within 72 hours
