Schedule: Standard Office Hours

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Pay Rate:$35.00 - 41.00/hr


Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Learning & Development professional to design, develop, and support engaging digital learning experiences. This role focuses on eLearning content creation, LMS administration, data analysis, and virtual facilitation to support organizational training initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Content Development

  • Gather course content and requirements from internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and external sources.
  • Design and develop engaging learning materials for delivery via eLearning platforms.
  • Recommend delivery strategies that maximize LMS capabilities and enhance learner experience.
  • Collaborate with Instructional Designers, Graphic Designers, and developers to build interactive content.
  • Manage internally developed and vendor-provided content to ensure LMS compatibility.
  • Support deployment activities including course uploads, curriculum updates, learner assignments, and notifications.

Data & Reporting

  • Generate and distribute training metrics and reports.
  • Develop custom reports to support planning and program management.
  • Support data-driven decisions through surveys, focus groups, and learning analytics.

Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams to implement innovative digital learning solutions.
  • Coach team members on effective use of technology to drive learner engagement.
  • Work cross-functionally to identify and support professional development initiatives.

Technical Support

  • Troubleshoot technology issues related to instructional delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance on eLearning tools and best practices.

Facilitation

  • Coordinate and deliver live virtual training sessions (e.g., WebEx, Teams).
  • Manage participant registration and event logistics.
  • Record sessions and publish to appropriate platforms (LMS, SharePoint, Stream, etc.).

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current on emerging learning technologies and industry trends.
  • Participate in professional conferences and development opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in coaching, teaching, consulting, and/or organizational change.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design for computer-based training.
  • 3–5 years of experience using learning and multimedia tools such as:
    • Articulate 360, Vyond Studio, Camtasia
    • Adobe Creative Cloud, Premiere Pro, Audacity
    • Degreed, Udemy, Microsoft Stream
    • iMovie, Final Cut Pro
  • 3–5 years of experience developing and delivering training to diverse audiences.
  • Working knowledge of various hardware, software, operating systems, and mobile devices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to leadership.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently.
