Position Summary
Our client, a leading investor-owned energy company, is seeking a Business Analyst to join its team on a 12-month contract basis. This role directly supports the Sales team in processing commercial agreements, acting as the key liaison between the Internal Sales Team, Channel Partners, and Customers throughout the opportunity set-up and bidding process.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Internal Sales Team, Channel Partners, and Customers, including analyzing inbound requests for proposals, setting up accounts, gathering usage data, and managing changes to proposals and pricing refreshes.
- Support all aspects of opportunity set-up to enable accurate and timely bidding.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met accurately and on time.
- Proactively contribute to process design and improvement initiatives to drive continuous business improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally across internal departments, building awareness of end-to-end processes and their impact on team responsibilities.
- Provide regular, clear updates to leadership on deliverables and project status.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail when handling proposal and pricing data.
