Clean Room Sampling Technician

Slough, UK (Fully Onsite)

Schedule: Standard Office Hours

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Pay:$19.50/ph




In this role, you will support clean room operations by sampling raw materials and maintaining GMP standards. Responsibilities include dispensing materials, maintaining equipment and documentation, training team members, and collaborating with cross-functional departments to ensure quality and compliance in all sampling procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform sampling of raw materials in a clean room environment in accordance with GMP protocols.
  • Generate sampling labels and process material movements using GMP electronic systems.
  • Transfer raw materials to/from clean room and QC lab environments.
  • Maintain accurate records in GMP documentation and logbooks.
  • Oversee clean room inventory, retention sample storage, and sample disposal.
  • Ensure calibration of equipment and clean room conditions are up-to-date and compliant.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Validation, Supply Chain, and Procurement teams.
  • Act as sampling area point of contact and support internal and external audits.
  • Supervise cleaning schedules and ensure accurate logbook entries.
  • Provide training and mentoring to junior staff and analysts.
  • Participate in the completion of quality records (Deviations, Change Controls, CAPAs).
  • Own documentation updates and manage implementation timelines.
  • Maintain a minimum training profile of 95% and attend required training sessions.

Required Qualifications:

  • A-Level education or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Chemistry).
  • Experience working under GMP conditions in a clean room or laboratory setting.
  • Familiarity with aseptic techniques and inventory control.
  • Comfortable working with both paper-based and electronic GMP systems.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
  • Experience in chemical/biochemical sampling or analysis.
  • Working knowledge of data reporting, documentation, and laboratory methods.
