About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and creative Content & Communications Specialist
to join our team. This role focuses on gathering insights from stakeholders, documenting processes and standards, and transforming complex information into clear, engaging, and visually appealing content. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping teams share knowledge effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development & Documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and team members to document business processes, standards, and best practices.
- Create clear, concise documentation that enhances the department’s knowledge base.
- Tailor content to different audiences and objectives.
- Develop articles highlighting team accomplishments and initiatives based on interviews and insights.
- Apply proper taxonomy and metadata to organize content for consistency and accessibility.
- Contribute to KPIs by producing content that drives engagement, awareness, and knowledge sharing.
Visual & Multimedia Content Creation
- Design professional graphics, visuals, and infographics to support documentation and articles.
- Produce content for internal communications channels, digital signage, and social media.
- Develop short videos and visual assets to promote key initiatives.
- Ensure all visuals align with brand guidelines and style specifications.
- Experience with Figma or similar design tools is a plus.
Engagement & Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to promote knowledge sharing.
- Support internal events and campaigns that enhance learning and collaboration.
- Utilize tools like Jira and Confluence to manage tasks and documentation.
Organization & Execution
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Demonstrate initiative and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Maintain high attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience creating written and visual content for internal communications, documentation, or marketing.
- Strong writing, editing, and interviewing skills.
- Proficiency with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva) and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams.
