Position Summary
Our client is a leading organization in the energy and utilities sector, committed to delivering innovative infrastructure solutions across the United States. This position serves as the Owner's representative to oversee the civil and structural aspects of solar plant construction. The Construction Supervisor – Level 4 is responsible for ensuring the EPC's adherence to all Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Performance expectations as defined by the EPC's Scope of Work and contractual commitments.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Review Safety Documents and Policies
- Review Contract Documents (Scope of Work)
- Review Civil/Mechanical Drawings and Specifications
- Review and Ensure SWPPP is installed and maintained per permit
- Ensure EPC schedules Pre-Cons for new tasks
- Review Civil/Mechanical Checklist
- Attend EPC Safety, Craft Tailgates, and Management Meetings
- Perform daily field walks and observations with field crews
- Perform QA/QC inspections and walkdowns on construction activities
- Monitor Unifier Uploads by EPC
- Complete QA/QC inspections in Unifier per frequency and activity completion
- Track Open Action Items or Punchlist
Education and Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of industrial experience in Civil and Structural construction
Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to comprehend Construction Drawings and Prints
- People management skills
- Strong organizational, scheduling, planning, and progress reporting abilities
- Effective communication with Contractor Management and third parties
- Computer proficiency: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, data entry and uploads
