JOB TITLE: Directory Services Messaging Analyst III

Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will manage and support enterprise-level identity, messaging, and cloud infrastructure projects within the IT infrastructure environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading multiple infrastructure and cloud modernization initiatives, including:
o Managing hybrid Microsoft Exchange Server and Exchange Online environments.
o Supporting migrations from on-premises messaging systems to cloud services.
o Administering identity services across Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
o Driving adoption of Microsoft 365 and cloud collaboration technologies. - Ensuring infrastructure security, scalability, and compliance across enterprise systems.
- Collaborating with security, IAM, compliance, and business teams to deliver reliable cloud and messaging solutions.
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
- Develop and maintain scalable architecture for on-premises and cloud-based messaging environments.
- Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of directory services, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.
- Architect and support Microsoft 365 services including Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Power Platform solutions.
- Plan and execute migration activities for messaging and endpoint platforms, including hybrid coexistence strategies.
- Configure and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce enterprise security standards and system configurations.
- Manage access and administration of cloud services across Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and identity services.
- Administer messaging and collaboration platforms including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Workspace One, and Intune.
- Automate operational and administrative tasks using PowerShell and Graph API.
- Deploy and manage Microsoft Intune for endpoint security and mobile device management.
- Conduct regular system security reviews, audits, and remediation activities.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalation support for complex messaging, identity, and cloud infrastructure issues.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for directory services, messaging systems, and cloud identity integrations.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and best practices.
- Mentor team members and support technical knowledge sharing across the infrastructure team.
- Participate in project meetings, migration activities, work queues, and business enablement efforts for cloud adoption.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Advanced understanding of hybrid cloud architecture and Microsoft enterprise technologies.
- Strong knowledge of authentication protocols including OAuth, SSO, and MFA.
- Solid troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
- Experience with enterprise security controls and compliance best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
- Proficiency in automation, scripting, and systems integration.
- Experience supporting enterprise messaging and identity platforms.
- Ability to participate in 24x7 on-call support rotation.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure administration.
- Strong experience with:
o Active Directory
o Microsoft Azure
o Microsoft 365
o PKI, DNS, and GPO administration - Experience administering Exchange Server (2013–2019) and Exchange Online.
- Hands-on experience with cloud migration projects and hybrid configurations.
- Experience with Intune and mobile device management solutions.
- Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and API integrations.
- Working knowledge of SailPoint and CyberArk integration is preferred.
- Strong Windows Server administration experience (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022).
- Relevant certifications highly preferred, including:
o Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
o Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
o Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
