In this role, you will support reliability and manufacturing testing of advanced electrical hardware, including ADAS, telematics, infotainment, battery management, and electronic control units (ECUs).
The team develops custom automated test solutions combining internal software, firmware, data platforms, and electromechanical hardware used in engineering labs and manufacturing environments. You will work closely with engineering leads to execute tests, review data, build first-article hardware, update schematics, and troubleshoot technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate software interfaces to run automated and manual test equipment during hardware bring-up.
- Validate system functionality using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, power analyzers, and digital multimeters.
- Perform calibration, setup, and maintenance of thermal chambers, vibration tables, and environmental test equipment.
- Troubleshoot and root-cause failures related to DUTs, fixtures, harnesses, and instrumentation.
- Document test results, failures, and corrective actions.
- Perform circuit board modifications including soldering, de-soldering, and component rework.
- Support commissioning and setup of new test systems.
- Assist with first-article builds and schematic redlines.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve reliability and manufacturing issues.
Qualifications
- Technical degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, drawings, and component data sheets.
- 5+ years of experience with automated test equipment (ATE) or industrial automation systems.
- Experience using electrical lab test equipment.
- Experience with soldering and circuit board rework.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
- Ability to lift and move test equipment as needed.
- Hands-on, self-motivated approach with strong troubleshooting skills.
