Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Electronics Technician
to support engineering and lab operations in a fast-paced development environment. This role involves electronic assembly, PCBA modification, functional testing, and troubleshooting of prototype and production hardware.
Key Responsibilities
- Support receiving and shipping of technical equipment and packages
- Manage material inventories and kit parts for assembly or rework activities
- Perform PCBA modifications, including:
- Component rework
- Soldering / de-soldering electronic components
- Blue wire modifications per IPC-610 Class 3
- Build wire harnesses following IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards
- Assemble and set up custom test equipment based on engineering diagrams and specifications
- Conduct functional testing of electronic circuit assemblies and engineering prototypes
- Perform unit assembly of ECU modules according to engineering documentation
- Maintain accurate test records and documentation, updating procedures when necessary
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and identify root causes of failures
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working as an electronics technician in engineering or electronics labs
- Technology/Technician degree or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong electrical fundamentals
- Experience using electronic test equipment
such as:
- Multimeters
- Oscilloscopes
- Electronic loads (E-loads)
- Excellent soldering and wire harnessing skills
- Ability to solder fine-pitch ICs and 0402 components
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with electric vehicle electronics
- Familiarity with Jira
- Python scripting experience
- Industry certifications such as:

- IPC-620
- IPC-7711
