We are working exclusively with a high-growth global technology company and seeking an experienced commercial/corporate lawyer to lead it's legal function. Operating across UK and internationally, the business provides software solutions to clients in highly regulated industries, mainly financial services and is backed by a supportive, people-focused culture. This role offers the opportunity to shape the legal strategy of a dynamic international organisation while partnering closely with senior leadership.
The successful candidate will be leading the legal function globally and providing strategic guidance to senior stakeholders across the business. The role includes drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial/IT contracts and broader legal matters including employment, IP, real estate, compliance and litigation as well as corporate governance. You will have the opportunity to grow a legal team and contribute towards the organisational strategy and risk management at a pivotal time of growth for the business.
Skills required:
- Qualified solicitor with at least 8 years’ PQE and strong general commercial contracts experience.
- Background working in-house within a tech, SaaS or financial services environment.
- Extensive experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial and software agreements.
- Experience managing a legal team and operating autonomously in a fast-paced, international business.
