Position Summary

The IT Financial Analyst will be responsible for managing and tracking IT department financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, purchase orders, renewals, and vendor contracts. This role serves as a liaison between IT, Finance, and Procurement teams to ensure accurate financial planning, timely processing of transactions, and effective vendor management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and maintain the IT department’s budget and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with corporate financial goals.
  • Manage invoicing, purchase orders, and purchase requisitions, ensuring timely processing and adherence to company policies.
  • Track and coordinate software license and service renewals to avoid service disruptions.
  • Oversee vendor management activities, including onboarding, performance tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Support contract lifecycle management, from initial drafting to execution and renewal, in coordination with Legal and Procurement.
  • Partner with IT leadership to analyze spend, identify cost savings, and improve financial processes.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports for IT leadership and Finance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on financial processes within SAP and Coupa, ensuring proper system usage for procurement and payment workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of financial analysis, procurement, or budget management experience, preferably in an IT environment.
  • Experience with SAP and Coupa strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in vendor management and contract administration a plus.

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, Finance, Procurement, and Legal teams.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
