IT Project Coordinator III

1-year contract (potential extension through December 2026)
Pay Rate:$59–65/hr
Top Priorities / Daily Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support projects related to server upgrades, network switch upgrades, and Disaster Recovery (DR) testing with infrastructure and application teams.
- Provide project assistance and coordination support to other Project Managers as required.
Job Summary
The IT Project Coordinator will support and manage multiple small-scale IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. The role involves coordinating activities across teams, maintaining documentation, facilitating meetings, and assisting with larger enterprise-level initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple small-scale projects to successful completion with minimal supervision.
- Oversee initial projects, including server migration and network switch upgrade initiatives.
- Support large-scale technical projects from initiation through implementation (planning, analysis, design, development, and deployment).
- Maintain detailed project plans, track milestones, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
- Create and manage documentation such as project status reports, meeting notes, audit checklists, schedules, and release management records.
- Monitor progress, budgets, and deliverables; prepare updates for management and stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing project presentations and reports for senior management.
- Manage workspaces in project document repositories and ensure compliance with internal standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks; ensure issues are tracked to resolution.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the PMO and Project Managers to ensure goals and deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field) or equivalent work experience.
- Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in IT project leadership or coordination.
- Proven success managing technical infrastructure projects and coordinating distributed field teams.
- Experience with Microsoft tools(Excel, Project, SharePoint) and project management platforms such as Monday.com or Smartsheet.
- Energy industry experience is preferred but not required.
